Buying cosmetics, an expensive pair of shoes and some clothing, or even a good meal at a restaurant are all surface self-care items. They are convenient and easy to obtain. But there are just some things we can’t buy and that would be wellness, precious time alone, and some self TLC.
I don’t have much to say about Prince. The last time I felt this way was when Aaliyah died. If I listen to his music any time soon, I might break down. Some people have a way of affecting me that way. This post is short but sweet. It’s my own way of honoring him.

Life moves fast. My life moves fast as a busy mom, mate, and working woman with a 9-5 job and the addition of a professional life as a licensed esthetician and makeup artist. Much of my life is centered on service to others at the expense of my own personal care. But I’ve recently discovered a solution that you could find useful too.
I live in a male-dominated household. Bless the oldest male for giving me time to myself when needed. It’s the littlest male in my home who makes it difficult to hear myself think sometimes. He’s just too cute to put out, so I have to find ways to make a bit of paradise at home.
